Avenpart Casparr (L) (Nativehut Riggs X Av.Ilka) and Bidgee Comb (R) (Jones’s Rossi X Jones’s Mia).

Both sires are worked and owned by Stuart Iddles of the Nomak Kelpie Stud, Strathmerton, VIC

Bidgee has already been used by Avenpart with great success and Casparr will be used again in the future.

We’re so proud to see these images of JK Amita & JK Dakota (Avenpart Gambler x Karmala Cherry) and Amita’s recent litter of 6.

Anita bought semen of Avenpart Gambler approx. 5-6 years ago. These images are a result of that matching.

JK Amita was artificially inseminated with Gary White’s Pint semen last year.

Anita will be using Av.Gambler’s semen again in 2026.

Genetics in Holland

Our client Julie Teunen , a shepherd in Holland, imported three lots of semen from Avenpart. 

On 23rd February 2025 Julie’s bitch, Sue, had three bitches and two dog pups to Avenpart Zeus( Avenpart Vance x Avenpart Orianna). One male is the red/tan all the rest were black/tan.

Julie has also used semen from Avenpart Maximus and has semen from Avenpart Dom in storage. Julie works as a full time shepherd in Holland.

Avenpart Genetics thrive in all conditions from a young age. 

Avenpart Elmor (purchased by Charlie McPhee) is working cattle on a property in Cooma.Elmor is by Avenpart Radical x Avenpart Zoe)

Avenpart has had a very sad 2023 with the loss of Verve and Gellybean early to blue green algae poisoning from flood water. Later we lost our old sire Av. Zeus to a heart attack. At the end of November our young sire Av. Eveready was run over by a motorist ignoring more than adequate signage on the Cobb Highway whilst droving more that 2,000 Merino lambs over the Wanganella Bridge.   We are lucky to have their semen in storage.

We just received news from Heidi Lederman in Switzerland that her Avenpart Kelpie, Dell whom she received in 2008 passed away on the 4/1/2024. She was worked on sheep.

Avenpart Wildfire at her new home in Virginia, USA in October 2022.
